PLEASE NOTE: There will be homework. Material will need to be cut per instructions and if you choose to add an applique design, this will need to be cut and prepared with Steam-a-Seam 2 lite or Heat n Bond lite before arriving to class.
Class Supply List:
Bag Outside - (20) 2 ½” strips x width of fabric or (30) 1 ½” strips x width of fabric
Bag Body - ½ yard in cotton, canvas, cork, or Splash Fabric.
Bag Lining - 1 ¼ yards cotton
Plain canvas or muslin to quilt on - ½ yard
Pellon 808 or 809 - 1 yard of 20” wide
Pellon SF101 - 1 ⅝ yard of 20” wide
ByAnnie’s Soft and Stable or fusible foam stabilizer - ½ yard pack(Soft and Stable), or ¾ yard of 20” wide fusible
(1) Sassafras Magnetic Snap
Notions and other supplies:
Mini iron and wool mat. We will be doing a lot of pressing.
Two types of marking tools such as a heat/air erasable pen and marking chalk.
Rotary cutter and small mat,
24” ruler, seam ripper,
matching thread and bobbin(polyester or cotton 50wt).
Fabric/thread scissors,
pins/clips,
standard sewing foot, quilting foot(optional),
Topstitch/Universal/Microtex needle size 80/12(any one of those 3 options listed),
